Helsinki can be a cold and dark place this time of the year, but luckily there's some high quality jazz going on to cheer things up. Theater/restaurant Kapsäkki in Helsinki hosts an international Piano Jazz Festival this weekend, with lots of fantastic Finnish and international artists and lecturers. Greetings from Helsinki! We are playing our music at junior high schools and telling the kids about ourselves, jazz and improvisation. It's been a fantastic week, and the feeling and atmosphere on the concerts has been very inspiring. We ourselves were in junior high when we started playing jazz, and playing for kids in that age has been a very rewarding experience. To hear live jazz in an early age is nothing you can take for granted, so bringing the music into the schools feels very important.

Thanks for the all the pupils, you've been a wonderful audience!
